Getting Started

If you’re not sure where to begin, we recommend starting anywhere. Stepping out of your comfort zone is the real start, connecting with people you wouldn’t otherwise have met along your path. Especially in the beginning, it’s less important what you do, than if you do. We’ve listed some organizations that will help you identify great hands-on volunteer opportunities at home or abroad to get you started with your own concrete baby steps. And if you still need help, we’ve also listed the organizations we support to give you some more ideas. Good luck!
